Your mental health is part of your health

 Trauma informed individual, couples, family and group therapy services are available to support you through any needs identified, utilizing strengths that you identify. We serve children aged 4 and older. We utilize talk therapy as well as Brainspotting, EMDR, Parts work and Imago to support you in achieving your goals. We also provide a psychoeducational group to address emotional regulation in children aged 5-10 years old called The Zen Den.

All recommendations for services begin with a comprehensive mental health assessment.  Individual, couples, and family therapy are available based on needs identified in the assessment.  
Services may be covered by insurance.  

 Coaching is a goal oriented service that focuses on the present and future. It is available to those who do not need the depth of therapy but would like support in becoming the best version of yourself with practical, actionable coaching. This may be the right service for you if you do not wish to use insurance and do not meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis but still desire support. This can be great for young adults looking for independence, retiring military and other life transitions.

Coaching is a self-pay service.  Evening and weekend hours available.​​This service can support those who want to address: 

• Anxiety, Stress, Burnout
• Difficult Emotions, Perfectionism
• Life Transitions - Adulting, Parenting, Retirement
• Military, First Responder Specialty
• Grief

 Some people do well with weekly couples therapy, other people do not have the regular time, or feel like an hour isn't enough time. 

Couples intensives are longer blocks of time that allow the couple to continue working towards a particular goal for several hours as needed to resolve the concern.  Intensives with Koala Wellness and Consulting range from 3-6 hours long and can be utilized to address infidelity, conflict, communication, among other relational concerns. ​Therapy and Intensives both have their benefits but are different.

Couples intensives with Koala Wellness use Imago therapy and do NOT diagnose either party. As such, this does not meet medical necessity criteria for insurance and is not covered.
